The Evans EQ3 20" Resonant Coated White Bass Drum Head with No Port features a single 6.5 mil ply and an internal 10 mil over tone control ring. Its coated white finish provides a professional appearance.
White Un-ported Reso Drum Head
The 20" EQ3 reso head from Evans is slightly brighter in tone than the EMAD range. It features a single 6.5 mil ply construction. Rather than a port hole this head features a 10mil internal ring to control unwanted overtones. The heads coated white finish offers an aesthetically pleasing option for the bass front head. This resonant head offers a good amount of sustain and tone to help create a full well-rounded bass drum sound.
