The Gretsch Keith Carlock 14"x 5.5" Signature Snare is a punchy, dynamic snare drum with real strength in depth. Designed to Keith Carlock's exacting specifications, its 2mm brass shell provides a naturally rich tone, with a powerful low end. This combines with the drum's die cast hoops and 45-degree bearing edges to produce present, but pleasantly controlled harmonic overtones, with a strong 'crack' to boot.

An exquisite underside response comes courtesy of a 20-strand snare wire, and an exclusive Lightning throw off and strainer, which provide silky smooth action and an ergonomic handle. Finished in a stunning, aged vintage patina, this snare drum is sure to grab the eye on any stage. About Keith Carlock

The king of the rock fusion groove. Keith Carlock is a mainstay of the classic pop/rock scene. In the past, he's contributed to albums and live performances by acts like Toto, John Mayer, Sting, and James Taylor. But Carlock is perhaps best known for his work with pop fusion luminaries Steely Dan, whom he joined in the late 1990s. Known for his infectious, endlessly musical playing, Carlock is revered within the drumming community, and has won many "Best Drummer" accolades from the industry over the years.
