The Meinl Turbo Cabasas are a great innovation, with significantly more volume than normal cabasas. This comes from the sound ports in the resonating chamber. The Turbo Cabasas bring the classic cabasa sound to a new level that will cut through any sonic environment.

With its stainless steel cylinder and beads, the ported design of the Meinl Turbo Cabasa offers you traditional cabasa sound and fantastic projection. Each Turbo Cabasa includes Meinl's patented design, characterized by five sound ports on either side of a special resonant chamber. The result is that you get an astonishing amount of volume with even a modest amount of effort - no more wearing out your wrists to get the percussive sound you want! What's more, your Turbo Cabasa comes equipped with a padded wooden handle that's easy to hang on to, so you can shake with comfort and confidence.
