To maintain tuning tension rods across the batter head, Pearl have developed the new Spin-Tight Tension Rods. This elegantly simple innovation creates a tension rod-within-a-tension rod that allows the rod to expand and lock into place within the swivel nut. Utilizing the special drum key, tunings can be controlled under high-impact playing like never before.
Using a combination of Spin-Tight tension rods and normal tension rods will still greatly improve the tuning stability of your drum.
