Information

10 years have passed since the very first collaboration between clinician wizard Benny Greb and drumming innovators Sonor. The result of that union? A signature snare that became one of the most popular drums that the brand has ever produced! Fast forward to the present day and a refresh of that same alliance has delivered a whole new instrumental sequel. Like Benny says, “It’s not an update, it’s an upgrade!”

Building upon the foundations of its renowned 13" x 5.75" beech predecessor, this model features a new bubinga wood inlay and ‘50s style teardrop lugs – all while retaining the same great sound that helped to put it on the drumming map. Extra innovations include the durable Dual Glide snare strainer and the intuitive MonoRail dampening system. This has been incorporated using two contrasting dampening materials hand selected by Benny himself. Known as ‘The Felt’ and ‘The Sheep respectively, each is interchangeable, allowing you to swap your sound quickly and easily from punchy, to funky, and everything in between!
