Information

Each individual drum is hand built by Joe Curtis, a joiner by trade and drummer of 30 years. Having built his first fully custom kit from scratch back in 2003 after years of messing about with modifications on various kits, he started making drums for other drummers in 2005 and has been building them ever since. Rebranding his company back in 2020 to Vici drum co. Focussing more on metal and acrylic shelled drums.

Gladius series

Seamless spun/deep drawn 1.5mm brass, copper, aluminium and steel.

These are available as standard 14x7” but can be ordered in any size from 3.5” to 9” depths.

Specs:

• Chrome over brass hoops 2.3mm
• Chrome over brass tube lugs
• DW Mag throw off as standard but trick throw off also available.
• 42 strand Vici phosphor bronze snare wires as standard.
• Evans HD Dry Batter Head
• Evans Hazy 300 Snare Side Head
